Graduates from this programme will be able to:

  • Use a digital device and software
  • Connect to wi-fi and discover internet basics including using search engines, understanding websites and finding information on the internet
  • Stay safe online – use passwords, secure sites, and manage spam
  • Confidently use workplace meeting platforms like Zoom and Teams
  • Communicate with others via online messaging apps
  • Create and deliver a digital presentation
  • Foster a learning mindset for digital
  • Learn online – using online learning platforms

Qualification

Participants gain an Otago Polytechnic Micro credential to recognise their learning.

Format

The way in which we deliver this programme for your organisation is flexible depending on your needs.  Groups of 6-10 learners are ideal to work through a 16-hour programme together. It can be delivered in weekly blocks of 2 hours or a more intensive programme, as you prefer. Training delivery is on-site at your organisation and we are able to deliver this programme throughout the Greater Auckland area.
